Staying up all hours of the night for no apparent reason, and then sleeping well past noon
Getting more into random bands like Sufjan Stevens, Kings Kaleidoscope, and The Smashing Pumpkins
Giving the new doggo belly rubs
Hoarding Pop figures and books I probably won't read for months.
That's about it from me at the moment. Can't say I'm planning much at the moment, aside from going to Ohana fest in September, and maybe the San Diego fair. I'm still here if you guys want to chat, or you can always hit me up on Tumblr or Goodreads.

1. Do you have a favorite place to read?
This one particular ledge beneath a tree at school that gives me a good vantage point of the campus. It's also my favorite place to draw. Other than that, it usually ends up being either in bed or my beanbag chair, one or the other.
2. Bookmark or random piece of paper?
Well, it's more of random cool things I end up using as bookmarks - concert tickets, movie stubs, an event Gengar card from Gamestop, the tag from my To Write Love on Her Arms shirt...
3. Can you just stop reading anywhere, or do you have to reach a certain point in the book first?
I usually try to stop at the start of a new chapter, unless I'm interrupted by something or it's getting rather long and boring.
4. Do you eat or drink while reading?
All the time. Nothing messy of course.
5. Multitasking: Do you watch tv or listen to music while reading?
Music yes, TV no, unless it's something like a football game. I rarely watch TV anymore, so when I actually do it has to be something interesting that I want to give my full attention to. But I listen to music while I do almost everything.
6. One book at a time or multiple?
I try to stick to one at a time since I don't have as much time for reading as I'd like to, but sometimes I like to have a fun book going and something a little more challenging at the same time. Tolkien and CS Lewis take me forever to get through, and I can never read more than a few chapters at a time.
7. Reading at home or everywhere?
Everywhere, although I do save certain things for home and tend to read ebooks more when I'm away or late at night with the lights out.
8. Reading out loud or silently in your head?
Silently. I hate loud readers. Like, WTF are you doing? I don't want to hear you, I have my own stuff to concentrate on.
9. Do you read ahead or skip pages?
Only if something makes me uncomfortable.
10. Breaking the spine or keeping it new?
I like keeping them nice and new, for as long as possible.
11. Do you write in your books?
Of course not! That's for textbooks only.

Alright, so it's been awhile guys.
Almost done for the quarter. One more week to go.
I don't have much in the way of plans for the summer. Mostly work, concerts, and catching up on games, reading, and medical appointments that I hate dealing with
.
My dog isn't doing so great right now, and I'm seriously worried about her. Doesn't have much energy, skin issues, issues with her back legs, and I don't know what else right now, but my parents don't seem to want to take care of it and I don't have the money for it since I have to pay for school stuff and whatnot and it's really starting to worry me
. My parents have confined her to the kitchen just because she occasionally has accidents now, and it feels like I don't have a dog anymore since she's not here to follow me around the house, she doesn't play anymore, or her back legs slip out from under her when I try, and I don't have her snoring in my room keeping me company while I'm doing my homework. I don't know what I would do without my furbaby.
I'm sure I've mentioned this before (maybe?), but I got a Switch about a month and a half ago, and I'm currently addicted to Disgaea 5. Sure, I bought Breath of the Wild first, but it's gonna be a good, long time before I can actually finish it. Still having issues with Zelda games because they bring back bad memories for me >_<
I have a lot of sketches backlogged that I actually need to post sometime soon - Crystal, Skylar, Libra, Akoya, and I'm not quite sure what else right now. But hopefully I can get them all up by the end of the week.
That's about it right now, or as much as I'm motivated to talk about right now at least. Summer always makes me kinda depressed since a lot of my school friends go back to NorCal and I won't see them for a bit
. Might post another journal for a Q & A session soon though. Feel free to ask me whatever you like - I promise I don't bite. Tag me in your journals, ask me stuff about college, whatever.

Hey guys! Miss me much?
The quarter is almost over, meaning I'll be on spring break soon and (hopefully) will have time for drawing and writing when I'm not working or catching up on all the medical appointments I've been avoiding
. And I need to work on finding an internship for the summer, hopefully at Target since I'm already working there. My goal right now is to work at the distribution center there for a few years, and then maybe move onto Amazon somewhere down the line.
My allergies are still hell. Goddamn sinus infection is back because they didn't give me enough or strong enough antibiotics again XP. What else is new?
I'm waiting to track down a Switch until after finals. Not sure if I should rush out and buy one this month or wait until they release more games for it though. I tend to only be interested in handhelds for some reason, probably because I still don't have a TV in my room and therefore wouldn't be able to play anything on an actual console very much (dad hogs the TV most of the time). I should probably hold off on buying any more Zelda games until I actually finish Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask though. Still haven't even opened that last one - Zelda games remind me too much of someone I'd rather erase from my memories.
And...I've been so busy with my classes that I haven't done anything exciting lately, aside from pre-ordering books when Target has them on sale (A Court of Wings and Ruin is going to be amazing
), and playing Fire Emblem Heroes way too much. What have you guys been up to?

1. Very First anime you watched: As a kid, it was Pokemon, Hamtaro, and Kirby Right Back At Ya!. I still have a huge stack of Pokemon VHS tapes
. When I got into other things it was Onegai my Melody and Makai Senki Disgaea.
2. Favorite anime you've watched so far: Ugh must I choose? Either Black Butler or Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
3. Favorite male anime character: Sebastian from Black Butler, Kisshu from Tokyo Mew Mew, Kokkuri-san from Gugure! Kokkuri-san, and Blood and Boris from Heart no Kuni no Alice.
4. Favorite female anime character: Kuromi from Onegai my Melody and Homura Akemi (spelling?) from Madoka Magica.
5. Anime you're ashamed you enjoyed: Ghost Stories. The English dub is hilarious, but pretty raunchy.
6. Anime you want to see but haven't yet: I really need to catch up on Black Butler when I have the time, although I think I'm skipping season 2 altogether.

24. Moment that shocked you the most in any anime: Uhh...je ne sais pas.
25. Saddest anime death: L in Death Note, since Kisshu doesn't actually stay dead. And Madoka, although I guess she doesn't technically die.
